Thanksgiving Weekend!
As tradition, we hosted Thanksgiving at our house again this year. Mom and Dad Taylor along with Laura and Brian stayed at our house, and my parents and my grandparents came and stayed at a nearby hotel. It's always very busy when there are that many people crammed in our house, but it always seems cozy and I just love having everyone together!
It's a lot of work to cook and clean for that many people, so it was really helpful that mom Taylor was able to come out early again so that she could help do some of that, and help watch Kayla so I could get things done.
We had wonderful food (if I can say so myself!) and wonderful company.
Kayla enjoyed the visit from everyone and was not too overwhelemed or overstimulated. She behaved very well and impressed my grandparents with her unprompted "please and thank-you's" (not that we always get it, but she is getting pretty good about that!). I am still unwinding from having a household full of people, but it's such a special time of year and so much fun to share with our families.
