Updates Updates Updates!!!

Yes, I know that I'm a slacker. When I setup this new site I did so with the intention of making it easier to update, thus I'd be more tempted to update it and keep all of our friends, family and fans (yes, i know you're out there) up to date on what's going on in our lives. I had a good run for a while there and then fell off the face of the earth right after the end of May. Well, time to go again, I just need to make it a habit. In an effort to get me going I've caught up on all the posts that should've been put up. Most of them should show on the front page, but just in case here are convenient links for you!

Weekend of Weddings!

So this was the weekend of weddings! We started out on Friday with Noah and Laura’s wedding. Josh and Crystal were back in town for this wedding since Josh was the Best Man and all. We saw them at the wedding and the reception. The wedding was at an incredibly nice church, I felt like I had just walked into a member’s only golf club. The ceremony itself was quite nice. The reception was held in the Laura’s parent’s back yard. They should’ve charged an entrance fee for that reception! Their yard is like a gardens that you would go on long walks in and take pictures of the beautiful landscaping and flowers. The reception was a lot of fun. We were there with Josh and Crystal, Nate and Jill, Jesse and Pellagia, Dave and Brooke. It was a blast seeing all of them and dancing and just having a great time. Here’s a picture of the group and a link to more pictures.

On Saturday we went to Shannon’s wedding. Shannon was a coworker of Lisa’s while she was at Chase. The wedding was very nice and sweet. The reception was held downtown at the Van Andel Museum which was very neat. We’ve never been to a reception there before and it was a lot of fun. We sat with several other old coworker’s of Lisa and had a great meal and fun dancing. We also took a ride on the Carrousel as well. Shannon and her husband Joe were only in town for the wedding as they have already moved to Arizona so that Joe can pursue his career in the law enforcement agency. Lisa is going to miss Shannon as they liked to get together to scrap book and bake occasionally. Here’s a picture of the happy couple!
